title: Surf at Sunset medium: oil on canvas size: 24" x 18" date: 2005 artist's comments: The sea has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in the Caribbean, surfing, fishing, diving... I learned at an early age to respect and love the ocean. I enjoy painting seascapes because they remind me of home, and also because I hope sharing the beauty of the ocean will inspire others to protect its fragile ecosystems.
*Some of you may have seen this painting on my old DA account (surf-snow-street). Unfortunately this is the largest photo I have of this painting and original has been sold.
Thanks for the compliment. I only put about 2 days of painting into it; it's a small canvas and I was inspired and motivated. I did this in my garage when I was living in Florida, where the oil-paints seemed to dry quicker (so considering drying times between layers I think it was about a week to complete this piece).

Just a poet walking down the hall, just a simple man,but when a simple man brings thoughts to many, he is not just one man,but he is many men, therefor no longger only a simple poet,But the inspiration of nations
